Clydesdale Housing Association

Based in Lanark, Clydesdale Housing Association was formed in 1987 as a social landlord in order to meet the growing housing needs of rural South Lanarkshire.
Since 1987 Clydesdale has built over 500 new homes for rent and low cost home ownership throughout the rural areas of South Lanarkshire and the Clyde Valley. The Association also owns and manages over 150 properties formerly owned by Scottish Homes in Carluke, Lanark, Rigside and Kirkmuirhill.
Our houses range from four bedroom family accommodation to specifically designed homes for those with disabilities and amenity housing for older people.
A registered charity and therefore non-profit making, Clydesdale’s main objective is to provide high quality housing and services at an affordable rent.
The Association is controlled by a voluntary committee of Clydesdale’s tenants and other local people with an interest in improving housing provision in the area. The committee is elected each year by the Association’s members at its annual general meeting.
